They barely even set up the narrative and cast, immediately jumping to shock value and plot twists instead of retaining conventions. Every story nowadays has to have a flying niggeroni jump out of a portal and wipe out half the cast then halfway through suddenly everything is a simulation killing all of the investment. IMO a lot of series would be better off sticking to tropes/cliches, would lead to a more satisfying and cohesive experience. For example Gege should’ve avoiding killing so many characters off in JJK because he only ended up writing himself into a corner and resorting to poorly written asspulls to patch things up.

disagree I think the deaths are some thing that keeps jjk more exciting

As above incelbro pointed out, JJK without deaths would be just another generic anime. The most important thing for a fighting anime is stakes. If everyone lives, what's the point of having villains? I've grown sick and tired of shonens in which the Villan turns to good or just "plans to destroy the world" they are boring as fuck, you don't really feel for characters and there's no sense of impending doom.

In JJK you were scared as fuck about who was gonna die next, there was a sense of dread and urgency

I understand but there’s a way to do it, JJK had to revive characters and the plot collapsed

You are venturing into spoilery territory, but i agree. I hated that, i don't like authors second guessing themselves. Nor do i like people reviving by deus ex machinas or retarded plot twists, same reason why i dropped Game of Thrones.

It's just a matter of preference at the end of the day, i prefer JJK a thousand times over things like My hero Academia, or Demon Slayer

Well, tropes exist for a reason and should be respected. A story with well-executed tropes fares better than one with many poorly executed subversions. This is why traditional crime novels (noir) appear better written than over-the-top whodunits for example (i.e. Chandler's novels vs Christie's).
