I scroll past and I see 50 million games about mental illnesses and alongside them extra billion video essayists analysing the said games.
And the thumbnail is always something along the lines of:
"The most accurate portray of Y! X media retrospect"
It's really common nowadays to see some YouTube animated series about some mentally ill girl struggling with some fucked up disorder, but never men. It's always the young pretty women who are the center piece of these vids. Whenever they make a game about a traumatized person with plethora of disorders, it's always women and never the men.
What about men? Are men not struggling too, especially the ugly ones?
Funny how they talk and comment in these videos about horrors of having these illnesses and feigning sympathy for anyone struggling with them, only to click off onto the next yt video talking about a clearly mentally ill man with unhealthy obsession to point and laugh at them.
Autism and mental illnesses are a spectrum and you should feel bad for them, but only for curtain types of people and anyone outside their acceptable range gets no sympathy at all. Remember Terry Davis? They all trolled and messed with him despite his schizophrenia and only when he died did they mourn him. And he wasn't even evil or some shit.
