Stay tuned for the next thread, I am going to try and fix the verb ''aller'' (to go) by converting it into a group 1 verb category :feelsokman:
It's finally time :feelsokman:

Aller is a bad verb because it ends in -er, it should be a group 1 verb! But here is the current present conjugation form of the verb:

je vais
tu vas
il va
nous allons
vous allez
ils vont

Apart for the 1st and 2nd plural forms, it is not ideal, it is irregular and doesn't respect any rules :feelsUgh:

Here is my fixed version, here is how it should be so that it makes logical sense and it respects the rules :feelsokman:

j'alle
tu alles
il alle
nous allons
vois allez
ils allent

:feelsokman:

Stay tuned for the next thread where I will be fixing the verb etre :feelsokman: (it's going to be difficult :feelsUgh: )

Sounds like shit tbh but maybe I'm not objective on the matter

The reference for French conjugation is: https://conjugaison.bescherelle.com/
For the verb "aller" : https://conjugaison.bescherelle.com/verbes/aller

Verbs ending in -er in the infinitive belong to the first group, except "aller" (third group)

About this exception. Even your teacher might not know this. And, many French people (and me, before checking) don't know this either!

Good news, if you say to french people :

(for present)
Maintenant, je aller
Maintenant, tu aller
Maintenant, il/elle aller
Maintenant, nous aller
Maintenant, vous aller
Maintenant, ensemble ils/elles aller

(for past)
Hier, je aller
Hier, tu aller
Hier, il/elle aller
Hier, nous aller
Hier, vous aller
Hier, ensemble ils/elles aller

(for future)
Demain, je aller
Demain, tu aller
Demain, il/elle aller
Demain, nous aller
Demain, vous aller
Demain, ensemble ils/elles aller

Replace "aller" with any verb and it works!

Don't worry !
They will understand.
(But your teacher will give you a zero.)

Good luck with your studies.

Another French cel in my thread! This is lifefuel! Welcome to my thread :feelscomfy:

There should be no except! It should follow the rules like all other -er verbs!

Maintenant, je aller
Maintenant, tu aller
Maintenant, il/elle aller
Maintenant, nous aller
Maintenant, vous aller
Maintenant, ensemble ils/elles aller
This is definitely even more simple, it makes sense :feelsokman: It's how it should be :feelsokman:

il alle sounds hard to say, il va sounds easy...

To learn how to pronounce a French word, this site seems correct to me:
https://fr.forvo.com/ (but too much ad)

I never use this site usually, because i speak french ...

Good luck with your studies.

The word "alle" does not exist in French.
Do not worry about it, we can create it if it doesn't exist :feelsokman: Language is a social convention after all.

But do not worry about this, I will soon make a new thread, I will tag all the Frenchcels from this thread, we are going to make a thread about owls

je ne sais pas, c'est une mysterieuse situation

Thank you for fixing the french verb for 'to go'. it has always caused me great suffering. the french verb for 'to be' and 'to have' caused me even greater suffering, so if you can fix it that would be based too.

sincerely, a mister & misses vandertrampcel

Thank you for joining my thread :feelsYall:

Trying to fix the verb etre (to be) is indeed my next plan, but it will take some time, as it is a difficult verb that doesn't respect any rule :feelsUgh: It will take some time. In the meantime, feel free to come to the owl thread above, we are debating hibou vs chouette :feelsokman:
