personality wise, we are like from a different planet. we don't get along one bit.
my parents follow a very tight schedule when they do things. for example: my mom vacuums and washes the floor at a very specific time of the day, and she will go absolutely mad if something is preventing her from doing the same thing at a very specific time.
i personally don't give a fuck when something is getting done, as long as there is enough time to complete it before its due.
same with my dad, he always must take the dog out at 8PM exactly, and i would do it on 7 8 or 9, for me it doesn't matter.
another thing is that they lack critical thinking, everytime i ask them about a tradition they go DON'T ASK TOO MANY QUESTION THAT'S HOW THINGS ARE. and it upsets me.
iv come to the conclusion that once you say shit like that, it means that you have grown older - and you lack any capability of introspection or critical thinking.
boomers in general tend to have a very FIXED way of looking at things, don't bamboozle them with questions about existence or purpose.
