I've been reading for years, even before joining this forum, about incels who remain unemployed due to what researchers have verified--an appearance bias in getting work. If you add to this the emotional and behavioral effects many feel from years of bullying, alienation, and social isolation, it's unsurprising so many of us don't interview well or show as exemplary team players. Some economists argue the US could create a federal job guarantee (JG) to end involuntary unemployment. Others argue this isn't feasible because of unwieldy bureaucracy and negative economic impacts. If you're an incel who's suffered from extended unemployment or underemployment AND who doesn't have family (parents...) or other sources of income (disability...), how do you feel about a federal government job guarantee?

Normally your 'work guarantee' is your social circles, as much as 70-80% jobs aren't even listed and get filled through networking.
Personally I'd support a federal life satisfaction guarantee: if you aren't psychologically well enough to do basic stuff like establish any meaningful relationships you should get at least enough neetbuxx to ldar in peace.

You're right. Studies confirm it. Most people get jobs through contacts--not through job boards or company websites. Which means if you're like us--the creatures most others are fleeing from--you're unlikely to have the network to help get you an interview. And I also agree with you that if our culture wants to be free to exclude people based on absurd characteristics like physical appearance BUT we're a capitalist culture in which private ownership and money are sacred, then we owe it to the people we exclude into obscurity to provide them at least enough to stay alive. Either that or offer them humane, medically competent assisted dying.

Capitalism took over the former USSR. And despite the government's extreme control in China, a modified form of capitalism is at work there, too. It's become the driving force of globalization. It was inevitable that an animal like Homo sapiens would prioritize personal gain even at the expense of the survival of others of its group or the planet we all depend on. I wouldn't shed a single tear to learn our species is on its way out.

Given the way it works out and despite the shame society tries to heap on people who think that way, that's totally understandable. Writing about human ethical reasoning, the philosopher James Rachels said no one (rationally) plays a game unless there's a good enough chance they'll win. What fking rational person would be born into OUR bodies and our lives but continually invest in the dominant myth of self-betterment only to invariably end up society's toilet bowl?

I agree. The problem I see is that so many of us incels are so bitter that we don't WANT to support each other in a sustainable, growable community. We'll talk trash online, but irl either we're in too much pain to care or we care ONLY bout the women we acknowledge aren't interested in us. So how do you build this supportive community you're talking about?

We need to form our own networks of support. Those of us with the means to do so should be doing what ever we can to moneymaxx and then help get other incels employed. When I landlordmaxx, I'll give very discounted rent to incel looking dudes and charge females more.
