Completely agree. I'm reading death note atm, and I watched the anime a few years back. Watching the anime I completely lost interest in the second half, but now going back and reading it, it's actually way better than even the first half. Would highly recommend, and I had a similar experience with both one piece and food wars.

Way better artstyle of the characters, and most often than not superior background art with animes you often see them being completely empty and devoid of any detail. VNs are the same vs Hentai.

However fights are pretty shit in manga due the black and white clashing and not showing you 3d depth so you won't see what the fuck is going on most of the time.

Action is better in anime. Art is usually better in anime, emphasis on usually. Pacing is much better in manga. There's less censorship in manga. You save time with manga so if you're busy and don't have the time to waste for 24 minutes for an episode, manga is also better for wageslaves. Sometimes though, anime makes good additions or changes to the manga that were much better than the original.

not surprised. but if you wanna give it a go i would you start with fedora Linux, whatever program that is not in the repositories is most likely available as a flatpak. If gaming is what keeps you at windows, steams proton has been doing alot, the only games that dont work is games with intrusive anti cheats. you can run non-steam games thru proton with little work
