Man stabbed in the back in NYC

NEW YORK — A man was stabbed in the back in Harlem on Sunday afternoon, surveillance video shows.

Video of the incident shows a male subject walking on a busy sidewalk at around 1:45pm near the corner of 125th Street and Lenox Avenue.

Suddenly, the suspect charges at the unsuspecting victim and stabs him in the back, the footage shows.

The wounded victim ran away and was chased by his assailant, police said. He was transported to Harlem Hospital in stable condition, according to police.

A motive for the stabbing is unclear at this time.

The suspect remains at large.
