Police have issued an appeal and released CCTV of a woman who they are looking for in relation to a sexual assault on a train. A man was allegedly sexually assaulted as a suspect passed by his seat on Sunday, December 14 at approximately 9:40pm.
The man was travelling on a train between Sheffield and Worksop when the incident happened. Police have released CCTV images of the woman they wish to speak to in relation to the incident, reports the Manchester Evening News.
A spokesperson for the police said: "Detectives investigating a sexual assault on board a train travelling between Sheffield and Worksop have released these CCTV images in connection.
"On Sunday, December 12, at around 9.40pm, a woman sexually assaulted a man as he walked past her seat. Detectives believe the woman in these CCTV images may have information that could help with their investigation."
