I just want to have fun again

That was the last game I played seriously.

My all-time favourite FPS game was Call Of Duty - United Offensive, which was an expansion pack for the original Call of Duty. It was so much fucking fun. Although Modern Warfare and BF2 were technically superior with better graphics, it just wasn't as fun as UO. The hilarious situations that would happen in UO capture the flag were just so epic. There was a perfect balance of infantry and tanks and artillery that was unmatched IMO. Basically that was the end of playing video games for me. Nothing lived up to that since, no video games have been fun for after that, now they're just a chore that I can no longer bother with.

I just looked it up, looks like it's on Steam. Now I kinda want to set up a new gaming rig.

i used to play the shit out of call of duty UO. People were insanely good at it though and could roll your shit with those bolt actions. I loved playing on Carentan with the stg44

UO was the best. Even the reviews on that steam page agree. I haven't played it in like 10 years by now but I can still remember all the maps. Carentan was absolutely epic. If you watch the tv series Band of Brothers, you will see they exactly copied the map from the episode that takes place in Carentan. Watching that episode I was like "wtf I've been there before".
