My neighbor is short - 5.1. Her guy is tall, over 185 cm. I heard her talking to her friends: So what if the difference in height is big. Height is not important.

This is hypocrisy. When a guy is tall and she is short, height does not matter. However, when the guy is short and she is tall, then the women do not say that the increase is not important.
When a guy is short like me - 5.5 and a shorter girl - 5.3, the guy hears that he is too short. The guy is taller than her, but he's short, it bothers the girl.
And when a guy is much taller than a girl, suddenly growth does not matter.
It makes me laugh while girl say: does not love a guy for tall height and if he was 5.0 height, he would still love him.
