This never fails to make me laugh. These days men are 'vain' and concerned with their looks because they fucking HAVE TO BE because of rising female standards. You have Chads who can't lose a millimetre of hairline otherwise Stacey will ditch them for NW0 chad who has the same face as him so they'll have to downgrade to Becky. Chads who need to make sure they maintain 0% body fat, take steroids and hit the gym 6 times a week because the Tinder Stacey they matched with does 10 squats once a fortnight and prefers guys who are 'in shape' like her. And Chadlites trying everything possible that the magazines suggest to make sure that they don't fall below the Chadlite level and god forbid have to put a certain amount of effort in to attract a girl.

And these are just the problems at the top end of the scale. Imagine the turmoil for all of us men below and well below it have, attempting everything we can just for a one night stand with a girl just to feel some sort of affection. In our cases it's not vanity, it's fucking despair as we look in the mirror and either think "ok what's wrong with me that no girl whatsoever even bats an eyelid at me" or look at literal flaws that people bullshit to us aren't there. This body dysmorphic disorder shit is a cop out meme that is applied to average girls who are pissed off that they can't land a chad so need someome to pity them or men that don't meet crazy standards and are pissed off about that so society needs to blame it on their mental state rather than taking any blame.

I once listened to a conversation at the gym. A female trainer made fun of a man who had a surgery to remove his nostril hair. As a man we are not allowed to do anything. Everything we do, specially when it is about improving our looks, will be evaluated yet people will tell us that evaluation is a bad thing and we are not allowed to evaluate somebody else, specially when it is about females. Once again the hypocrisy.

Yeah, if any of us get surgery and people say that we look different just say that you got a haircut and that should work.

Great point. Yet they create apps which literally allow everyone to evaluate people based on one glance at their looks. It's absurd. I've said it before but there is a huge outcry about people judging people based on their race such as racist chants in football however race is purely a set of physical characteristics, oh but guess what, it's fine for everyone to have something on their phone which allows people to instantly judge someone based on...physical characteristics.

It's ok if a man want to improve his looks up to a certain point...like losing weight, getting the right haircut or changing his fashion sense. But if he wants to roid up or get something done to his facial bone structure, then it's almost considered heresy.

I think that attitude comes from a time when men weren't concerned about their looks because all they needed was a good job and to be hard working to get a foid, so looks weren't as much of a necessity and you were generally ok if you were above truecel tier in looks.

I find it also funny that plenty of females got mad over the app where you can remove makeup. Quite hypocritical once again.

Most people would think that he has to compensate for something, most likely because his penis is too small. Brutal penis pill once again.

Also men from back then had an higher level of testosterone, so they did not have to worry about that either. Today plenty of men are low in testosteron, growth hormones or a general hormonal disbalance.

Excellent point and something I've always noticed. You can get make yourself stronger or wear some clothes or get the right haircut because those are manly things to do grrrr. But anything else and it's a vanity or even gay/feminine thing.

And you are right, I think a lot of generic advice which may well have been perfectly valid in a previous generation continues to be regurgitated today even though it no longer has any validity. How are we supposed to take the advice of our fathers an uncles who met their soulmate at age 16 and have never needed to go to a nightclub or use Tinder since?
