So I have smelled an odd thing in my room, it was a mix between rotten fish and brie. Turns out I have forgotten to dispose of a bowl of rice and some pickled fish. The rice had mold in its end flowering stage and the fish had maggots. Not just one, but like 5. I'd post a picture but I immediately threw it away. Guess that I have taken stinkcelling to a new level @NeverEvenBegan.

I honestly think I've had bugs crawling on me while I'm sleeping. I just throw all my trash under my bed.

I can't bear any smell or bugs or anything in my room so I have to do the dishes everyday and clean my room atleast twice a week while not keeping it like a shithole.
Although it sucks cuz it's small

How do you find the motivation to do so? I sort of just gave up and like never actually clean. At most I arrange things in the correct order, haven't vacuumed in months (I just sweep with a broom as I can not bare the sound)

I have been like that since I was a child, mom would shout at me for not being clean and keeping my surroundings neat.

My mom did the same to me and it had the opposite effect, in fact she also used to beat me if I wasn't tidy. Didn't work.

I think the filthy room I live in caused me respiratory issues, idk, it doesn't matter at this point, it's already over for me

One day I came home from work, during summer and my kitchen was crawling with maggots.

They were feastinf on some old meat in the trash can.

When I left for work they weren't there.

I only noticed them because I heard them crawling inside the bag.

I started itching all over.

I got 'flour mites'
i have a room like one of those basement dweller images you see of absolute mess except worse
they thrived in the mess of my room and bred until there were literally hundreds of thousands of them. within 10 minytes there would be about 100-200 of them on any water glass i brought into the room because of the sheer number of them living on any surface i could put the glass down and when i brought in sugary drinks they would be attracted to them and form a rim on the cup
i have since moved out of the room and i got rid of most of the food and now they are slowly dying off but there are still a few i can spot on most items. i assume they crawled on me when i slept
they are lice sized bugs that come from contaminated food packets
this is real. i can go take a photo of the small spiders that emerge from the abandoned room when i flip over a piece of rubbish
