I remember in initial days of Covid valorant came out and I was one of earlier adapters of the game. Despite having multiple months of experience my gaming frens on discord became better then me in within a week of playing. After 2 weeks they dropped me since I was a drag on their team anons. No amount of hard work can outrun talent and innate genetic differences.
