I did keto and stunk like ketones while living on things like bacon, eggs, chicken, turkey, peanut butter.

Lost like 10 pounds but at least as much of it was muscle as fat.

Like, no shit. I can do that without keto.

Just water fast if you're a fatcel. Most of my diet is carbs and I'm a skinnycel. Is there something besides the fact that carbs are not advised for overweight people that also makes them taboo?

It's all cope. Chads with 6 packs just lift weights 4 hours a week and eat whatever reasonably healthy food like chicken veggies and rice.

The rest of us just chase one fad diet after another thinking we can get the same results if we find the right macro ratio.

None of it works really.

Carbs are not bad. Obviously colas and white bread are bad, but whole-plant sources of carbohydrate like fruits, legumes, whole grains, and tubers are very good for you.

Well that's the other part of the problem. Modern standards are ridiculous. Even many professional athletes aren't super ripped.

I did keto a few years ago. Fuckin hated that shit, I felt so low energy and weak. Sure I lost weight but I wasn’t fat at the time so I was turning to a skeleton

Every guy i've seen with an actually lean six pack has one genetically.
 
I tried avoiding carbs. Got weak in less than a day and had to stop it. Went right back to eating pizza.
