Imagine you were attractive. so much so that girls constantly wanted your attention. Now obviously they want sex, BUT do they love you? Where in a hypothetical relationship does love even come from? My personal idea of female love towards male revolves around self-gain/interest. For example: A female want's a man with money, looks, connection's, the ability to please her essentially... And if a man meets these requirements does that compulse a "love" towards them?

I'm not so sure myself. My only understanding of love comes from media. Nobody in my immediate family loves anyone romantically.

a lot of what people think love comes from movies, music, books, e.g. in reality it's a transactional relationship

yeah, but you wouldn't call that "love", since love doesnt exist. This love you're talking about is completely artifical and is solely built from what the other person has.

I mean sure, filling those "requirements" may make her infatuated with you for a little while, but once you inevitably lose the thing that made her attracted to you in the first place, shes going to break up with you almost immediately.

its also weird, because why does love need requirements in the first place? shouldnt it just be natural? if love truly existed then it wouldnt have any requirements and anyone would be able to expereince it.
