No, they were woke. Every female character was made into a girl boss. Galadriel was especially made into an unlikable domineering bitch compared to her more feminine and loving character in the book. Arwen literally replaced Glorfindel so that she could be a girl boss. Peter Jackson is a male feminist cuck. You can see him going even further with this with the Hobbit where he creates a girl boss character to insert into the story.
