As a kid, if I had an idea for something I thought would be entertaining, I would sit down, open a composition book, and start drawing, and I would keep at it for sometimes up to 2 weeks before I made a finished comic book, I also made fight scenes and created my own models for pivot animations.
Granted, since I was a kid, everything I made sucked on an objective scale, but I still cared enough to see through to create the vision I had until the end.
Nowadays I could not be assed to do anything of the sort, not for schoolwork, not for me, I haven’t had the will to make a simple sketch in years, let alone any other hobby I tried.
I’m not upset, I think drawing past age 16 as a male says something about your mindset that you haven’t grown up, but it’s strange that I can’t find that motivation to apply to anything else.
