I remember this constantly at university where if some foid or male normie+ happened to be trying to cross at the same time suddenly cars would behave completely differently.

I saw this mtn "friend" of mine a couple years ago and he tried to gaslight me about being beta in front of cars, what a fucking retard. ofc it's easy to attribute that kind of shit to personality when cars are way more likely to stop for you and thus yet another vector of how people feel justified in being lookist

I'm totally paranoid about cars not stopping for me (or honking at me) at stop signs and street lights, but especially stop signs. Usually at a stop sign especially, even though I have the right of way in the crosswalk, if a car is stopped at the stop sign, I prefer to walk behind the car rather than in front of it because I don't want them honking at me to hurry up and get across the street.
