I only got steam in 2015 after a friend from college convinced me; unfortunately this is a friendship that ended last year, so I was looking back at all the memories.

I've played some amazing games, some ok ones, some terrible ones that I could not refund in time. These are some of my favorites from my current collection:
  • Borderlands GOTY Enhanced
  • DOOM 1 + 2
  • DOOM 64
  • Quake
  • All of the mainline Serious Sam games, including Siberian Mayhem DLC
  • Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove
  • Sonic Mania
  • Sonic Generations (when modded)
  • Spyro Reignited Trilogy
  • Streets of Rage 4
  • Super House of Dead Ninjas
  • Super Meat Boy
  • Portal 1 and 2
  • South Park Stick of Truth
But I honestly don't know... for some reason I thought about selling my account, even though it goes against ToS. I don't really play that much vidya anymore, so I was wondering if there's a failproof process to do this.

Overall, I don't regret the time I've already spent with it. It turns out normies were retarded; the reason why I struggled so much in life was not because of the videogames, it was because I was ill (which nobody considered this possibility at the time). If I didn't have videogames, there's a good chance I would've killed myself at specific points in my life. On the other hand, I just wish I was normal. I wish I had done sports and fights like the other kids. A couple of girlfriends would have been nice, even if eventually relationships went to shit somewhere in 2012. It is what it is...

What about you guys? Do you look back at your game collections and remember certain aspects/episodes of your life?

I get back it it A LOT less nowadays. Real life and wageslaving is taking too much time. Fml, man

south park stick of truth was so peak

The escaping must never stop

I remember nothing. Everything came and went in a blur, and even nostalgia is a one time thing. You feel nostalgic about a game until you play it and suddenly you don't. I hate the nature of human memory, any burning desire you have ever had fades away eventually and you feel it no longer. Worse yet, sometimes you can't even remember yourself at that moment and the person you once were is erased from existence. But I want to remember. Joy and anger, ups and downs, bickerings of my youth.

I love how normies think sitting on their asses watching TV is somehow superior to interactive media. My uncle literally told me I need to "turn my brain off" at night and watch TV instead of playing games and that I'd feel better if I did. Of course he'd say that-- he has no fucking brain.

I never learned to game because I was poor. Never had a console till high school and a pc till college. And by then I did not have friends

whats the best quake game in ur opinion

I made my current Steam in 2012 but my very first one in 2009. I wish I got a lot of the good games that were on Steam back then that you can no longer get.
