We all know that looking at a beautiful face triggers dopamine. Imagine having a face that sparks the same neurochemical reaction as love, swimming in a warm lagoon on a summer's day, BBQ with friends by a lake, waking up to Christmas presents as a child, cozying up under a blanket in front of a fireplace when it's snowing outside.
They trigger the same feel good hormone that we get from our fondest memories and experiences, just by walking around and directing their face at us. Imagine having that power over people.
On the flip side, an ugly face triggers feelings of disgust and suspicion, like when you see a cockroach on the kitchen floor.
