Well, I found a way around it.

I collected 4 dead rats downtown into a Nike bag and left them under the bleachers. The whole thing was a small sensation. It made the papers.

The principal came on the morning homeroom announcements, offering a reward for the "rat terrorist".


I never went back to gym class. I never showed up and they passed me anyway. Lots of kids did too, afraid of more rats.
