I use linux mint and it just works, so its not really a good cope other than the little customization you can do on cinnamon. I have alot of linux knowledge though and when i used to use arch/gentoo I was very entertained. I agree depending on the distro.

i picked a distro where most stuff works, plus ive been using this shit for a few years so i know most of the tricks

its way easier to troubleshoot with AI now, 10 years ago u had to find a forum post from some random nigga and hope it worked

I mean most distros are as stable as pp in the morning. How do you manage to break them?

a lot of stuff either doesn't work out of the box

or you go to install something, and it takes 6 hours of mucking with to get it to function (usually something that would have taken 30 seconds on windows, lol)
