I've grown accustomed to the feeling of loving someone who will never love me in return. It's a pain familiar to me.
I've suffered through many injuries. I fell off a two story building and broke a leg once. I received bruises all over my body from kickboxing, I've bled from fist fights, dislocated a shoulder, had a ribcage shattered and have suffered burns of various degrees.
Yet, the harshest pain I ever felt is the pain of being attracted to someone, feeling affection from someone who will never see you the same way.
The body can heal repairs, a wounded heart cannot.
