Yeah, this saying is pretty stupid though isn’t it. Life is short? Compared to what? Life is not short. In fact, life is the longest thing you’ll ever do. What will you ever do that is longer than your life? Nothing. By definition, life is longer than anything else, everything else you do fits inside your life.
