Just take ur phone out and pretend to text someone and leave their line of sight. Doesn't make it seem obvious /awkward if caught and is an easy way of escaping sticky situations.
I just shut them down completely and act like they don't exist. Usually this would lead to some fights but in the end they never talk to me again
