As religion progressively lost power in the West after the Renaissance, more and more people moved away from it and became materialists. But still unable to embrace the sheer hopelessness and brutality of the fact humans are nothing but animals and there's no good God or anything like that that will bring us justice, equality and freedom from suffering, they just took the matter into their own hands and decided to substitute God in such mission.

When you trust God to bring these things to you, nothing happens.

When you trust communists and socialists to do it, mass starvation, genocide, and even much more injustice, inequality and suffering happens.

And don't even get me started on feminism and libtardism.

All I know is that the left is prone to unquestioning obedience to leaders and dogmas. I remember reading that in 1939, Stalin ordered American communists to organize anti-war marches to shape public opinion in the United States against World War II. At that time, he believed that he could deceive Hitler and that Hitler would become entangled in a war against England or in the Middle East, where he would be exhausted, allowing Stalin to destroy the Reich with a modified Red Army. Then, in 1941, he ordered the communists in the United States to demand aid for the Soviet Union.

I also know that the left in the United States and the West relied heavily on Chinese directives. When the Soviet Union and China clashed in the Battle of Damansky, the Maoists declared the Soviet Union a revisionist state and ordered the leftist Maoists around the world to fight against the Soviet Union and eliminate all pro-Soviet communists. After Nixon's visit, the alliance between Mao and the United States was solidified, and both countries began to pursue a common international policy and support a common side in the conflict. Few people know that China, not the United States, provided 70% of the weapons used by the Afghan mujahideen.
