It doesn't sound like him, but I think it could very well be Elliot Rodger with his actual, non formal voice.

He is the guy named "Border" in the game. Listen to him speak, the events he describes line up perfectly in what Elliot put in his manifesto. The most dead giveaway is that this "Border" guy stated he was from Santa Barbara, and specifically says Isla Vista. The original video was published in 2013, but the title was changed. There is no possible way the actual video itself could be faked at all. Very interesting stuff.

I also used to chronically play on a server with this same map back around the same time period, which is also interesting.

2013 tier. You can also tell that Elliot is on a laptop as you can hear echoes from the other players in the background when he talks. Elliot did indeed game on a laptop, and I think he used a MacBook.

Source games back in those days and before were full of people with mics like that. It was hilarious. I was gaming on a laptop at that time and I'd always have to turn my shit down or else my parents would get mad at me.

You never heard them on mw3? They were all over Bo1 and Bo2, every game I had to mute half the lobby because I used a headset and it murdered your ears. At least bo2 made it auto mute all talking players instead of the 1 by 1 bo1 bs.

Yeah, that was the biggest giveaway for me. He also talked about breaking his leg, which happened a month before this was recorded.

I remember when servers with custom mods and rotation maps were popular. https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Category:Mods The game used to be much more fun. Now most old users are pre-occupied with trading, Valve servers are ruined by bots, and server variety is rare. I still play from time to time, but the game has lost some spark. I hear more and more users are flooding into the game, but I don't know where they're at unless those are accounts used to troll or trade.
