Having studied in India before, I’d say it’s really tough for a lot of students cuz from 11th grade onwards they get hit with completely new concepts all at once. Imagine being introduced to dy/dx in physics when your maths foundation isn’t even solid yet. From what I’ve seen, many students just end up memorising formulas and vomiting them out in exams, without really understanding what’s going on.
