The KKK. You can ask ANYONE who lives in the deepest most racist parts of the south, and nobody will know anyone or have ever heard of anyone who was actually in the KKK. They can tell you family and friends who fought for the confederacy, which happened much further in the past, but not a single KKK member. Was it just literal glowniggers of old? Like the modern day "proud boys" or whatever?
KKK was basically a neighborhood watch group that wasn't all that violent, basically they'd show up and give a talking to people committing crimes and leave random niggers alone.
