Recent history has demonstrated that franchised and corporatized entertainment will nearly always be cucked by some agenda. No medium is immune be it games, film, books or otherwise. And so I generally avoid investing myself into any escape which is franchised or made-for-capital.
So far, old (OLD like out of copyright, or straight up ancient) writings have not only dodged the clown world touch, but sometimes contain blackpilled perspectives just by virtue of their era.
