On Thursday afternoon, Rima Hassan was welcomed at Sciences Po Lyon. The LFI MEP was giving a lecture, during which activists from the far left and far right clashed outside the institution in the 7th arrondissement.

A member of the Némésis collective was singled out and thrown to the ground. According to Alice Cordier, director of the identitarian collective, members of Jeune Garde, Eteignons la flamme, and Solidaire.s were responsible for attacking the young woman.

When a nationalist tried to intervene, he was also beaten and then chased to the Fulchiron quay, where he was attacked again at around 7:40 p.m. Seriously injured, Quentin, 20, is now reportedly brain dead.
