I will never understand why people try to make theirselves "better". Why spent extra time & energy to optimize yourself for something you weren't given freely, just to get the validation of a society you are clearly not a part of. Are you a group project?

It’s not meant for validation, but for self defence and health purposes. Also as something to redirect rage energy towards.

I always point to the classic anon thread that explain people in general, especially Gymcels who “self-improve” to me perfectly. I never understood it whatsoever if you’re out doing it to wanna “have a chance”; for a cope though, pretty normal.

This is the most frustrating thing to me.

Literally Chad can spend half the time and get better results than some inkwell gymfag because his frame is better or his sensitivity to test or ability to produce it is better. Hard work doesn't have as a huge of an impact as it "should."

Inteliigence, genetic.
Frame, genetic.
Natural happiness, genetic.

Gym won't do anything for me besides put me in the grave quicker I'm not fat either. I'm just severely mineral and vitamin defianciant do to my odd autistic diet lol. I have bursitis in all my joints now trying to work out and gained no muscles hardly while aging myself 20 years. Those gym bros end up hurting a lot people with their horseshit.

Plus using muscle to compensate for bad frame or height doesn't work. Even with all that muscle, you will still look small compared to a bigger framed taller guy who has thicker wrists, bigger hands, and wider shoulders and ribcage.
 
Gym is newest religion. The activity and prospects are far too commonplace, and now contemporary society, at least for men, requires that one must participate in the trend. The notions that follow the gym are often grounded in narcissism and the will to achieve some level of sexual appeal.
Look to anyone spreading the gospel of the gym. Two points are most commonly proposed.

1) Discipline, masculinity, self control, blatant fucking narcissism. These are attempts to please the intrinsic human need for social dominance.
2) sexual appeal: People who go the gym do it for sexual appeal, even when otherwise stated.

When you realize these things, you notice that these are all attempts to satiate preliminary drives that ultimately arrive at the same point of conclusion.

Very true. His frame, bone head connection points, control how wide his muscles naturally are. There's that old pic of the Rock when he's like 10 and it's absurd. No amount of juicing and gyming will make the midget lanklet look good. He'll look "puffy" at best.

The solid, health, has been replaced by the liquid, fitness, and warps to fit whatever container attempts to hold it.
Sad? Gym.
Lonely? Gym!
Want to get laid? Gym.
Want to feel better about yourself? Gym.

It really does resemble a religion.
