overall USA is a much better place to live than socialist shitholes like finland for productive people. what a moronic comment. i literally have had no healthcare at all. i don't have any private insurance. public healthcare is not free, public dental care is almost as costly as private and the queue is 1-2 years even to receive the right to ENTER THE queue.
I have literally never visited a doctor as an adult, it is impossible to get a booking in the public sector and it costs about 60 euros. it is only good if one has cancer etc. the system has recently totally collapsed because of failed reform.
most people here pay the full costs of drugs in the pharmacy unlike most of Europe (and i don't mean only the EU, but also places like Serbia, Russia etc.), the state does not subside the costs of prescribed medicines to the vast majority of population. and if the state subsidises, it is only 40% of the price. the tax difference between usa and finland is much bigger than the value of our public health-care. the bottom line is, the people with IQ lower than 80 want to live here, others would be better off in the USA. the thing is, average net taxpayer pays for the failed public health-care and does not use it, always uses the private health-care and pays all the costs out-of-pocket or has an private insurance.
