Serious Just found out my phone's front camera gives me major lens distortion

So I got out my phone and was about to take selfies to post on r/incelselfies when I got the idea to compare how I looked in the mirror to how I looked in the smartphone.

Now, I won't say I'm not truecel even without lens distortion, because that's obviously not true, but it's pretty clear the lens distortion exacerbates flaws that I already have.

Also, I'm not posting any pics on r/incelselfies since just looking at selfies I take makes me want to rope ASAP.

Mirror is probably your best bet, though if you want to determine your looks level, you should look at the females who show interest in you. If there aren't any, you can assume you're sub-5. If they act disgusted by you, like you're a piece of roadkill getting shoved in their face, you're probably a 3/10 or less.

Get a load of this guy, implying I've ever gotten genuine interest from a woman. I definitely get no interest, but I get more apathy/avoidance then disgust. So I guess my self-rated 4/10 seems legit.

I wish there was a way to see me through others' eyes, so I could identify the problems more easily.

This is true tbh. I find myself looking more symmetrical and 'fuller' with some distance while close up selfies produce a weird narrow face with weird proportions.

I think you and @jerrycan dan missed the part where I said "I won't say I'm not truecel even without lens distortion, because that's obviously not true." All I said was the lens distortion makes some pretty noticeable changes.

And this forum has a rule against posting selfies. I wanted to post there for further affirmation that I am a truecel, but the mere act of taking the pictures was affirmation enough.
