What are your thoughts on crossbowmaxxing? I was quite surprised to learn that you don't even need a licence or have to do any paperwork and can easily avoid having to register it with the police.
In my opinion, this is a perfect firearm alternative for eurocels. Crossbows might even be an adequate way to rope if you set up a contrapion with it. Under the assumption you use a high power crossbow and penetrating bolts.
The bolts are not that expensive either. Longetivity and maintenance is the only concern really. Because you have to lubricate and wax the weapon. And the string will unavoidably break after a certain number of fired shots.
