My dad used to tell me that I would be taller than him. When buying clothes as a late teen, my parents always bought me oversized clothing thinking I would grow in. That completely fucked me over because then I looked even more scrawny.

Late puberty and getting nothing out of it, is one of the worst things you can get in life. I remember clinging on to the last hope in my heart that I would at least be average compared to everyone when I got older. Beyond fuck no, puberty just made me even uglier than I already was. My mandible decided to grow downwards instead of forwards like actual humans and I was given severe acne.
