Theyre dogmatic. I don't get what's the point of doing this.
They're good at looking into the loopholes of their rules, but they can't reason why these rules were made in the first place, and how the reasons would interact with non-explictly written situations.
I think they're a more dogmatic version of Muslims, who are already pretty rigid. (Muslims have their own version of bypassing the reasoning for their rules, like halal makeup for women; technically allowed but won't pass a reasoning test)
