In a study called “Adolescents' Age Preferences for Dating Partners: Support for an Evolutionary Model of Life-History Strategies”, teenagers were asked about their age preferences for an ideal partner, the youngest and oldest they’d like to have a relationship, and what age group they have most attraction to.
One finding is that teenage girls like men in their early 20s the most. Girls age 14-15 usually like guys around age 18, but 16-17 year olds prefer guys in their early 20s (20-22). 18 year old girls preferred guys in their late 20s.
