Jaws made everybody afraid of sharks to the point people started killing sharks and were fucking terrified of them in an exaggerating way and even the creator regretted making the movie.

Terminator is what is making everybody terrified of AI because everyone is scared AI is going to be as sentient as us and take over the world and kill us all.

Alien movies made scientists too scared to try to find alien life with communication because alien invasion movies made everyone assume aliens were all evil monsters but even then, they likely won't reach us.

Jaws (and Zorro) were the first DVDs i ever watched back when I bought a PS2 in 2001

OG terminator movie is also legendary, the way it combined horror/action/suspense was wild
