One statistics I saw was in 1950 the divorce rate in America was 10%. By 2010 it was 50%. Yet for the top 10% of Americans in income.. the divorce rate in 1950 was 10%.. and in 2010 it was still 10%. I think the black divorce rate in the 1950's was also only 10%.

In most of America where the real estate, utilities, food and fuel are cheap.. if blacks married and stayed together like they did in the 1950's, blacks would be living solid middle class lives. Eg.. imagine a black family where the wife was a teacher and the husband a mail man.
