I would have bet money on this fight if I could have somehow known it wouldn't be rigged as I knew there was a 0 percent chance Jake Paul could legitimately beat AJ.
Actually even though AJ won, i STILL think it was somewhat rigged as it's sus that AJ took 6 rounds to knock out Jake. I get AJ is past his prime now, but 2 years ago AJ knocked out Ngannou (who almost beat Tyson Fury) in just 2 rounds. So part of me suspects he was at least implicitly incentivized to make the fight go on longer.
I'm also not convinced this was a good idea for Jake even though he got 100 million. Jake Paul probably had a net worth of around that much already and once you reach a certain level of wealth, you reach a point of diminishing returns. Like the quality of life from 100 million to 200 million isn't really that different. Probably not worth it for him, and it's not about the loss or the pain, it's about the brain damage.
