Its ALWAYS extremely ugly (not because of style, you can clearly see their face/body is fucked up), unkept, mental basket case, loser, etc people doing it. And if they werent ugly before, they certainly are now. So what causes this mind virus to spread so easily?

Very true. In every ideology, the most basic insult that every normie can rely on if all else fails is ad hominem and insulting someone's looks. This is true across ideologies, religions, politics, cultures, locations, etc. It is every normie's fallback point. And it has always been like this.
