This shithole is going nowhere. Elections are happening next year. Every candidate's economic policies are the exact same: "I'll fix le heckin bad corruption guys." We import 80% of our rice man. Instead of fixing an unironic food shortage we should go fix corruption instead. It's taken us 10 years since 2017 to try beat this shit. CLEARLY it's not working and the cattle keep falling for it. In my mind we should solve the food shortage then transition into manufacturing and shit. I have NO shot of getting a decent job in SWE purely because the few startups here pay peanuts ($350/mo pre-tax.) Long story short, it's over and we're the ones that killed ourselves.
