Can confirm, I am engineer, really struggling to make ends meet. Although, looking at that graph, it's a relief that a mathematical field would've put me in the same situation; now I can let go of the regret I had for not pursuing that field, instead.

I really doubt this statistic and I wonder how it's measured. What falls under these categories and what doesn't? Does finance belong to math? Do pharmaceutical jobs fall under life sciences?

Video game industry is probably the hardest one out of all computer/programming-related industries to get a job in. A lot of talent and very little demand. Competition is really though as a result.
