I'm looking for a part time job, to spend the time between getting actual work. Idk where to look, so I look on indeed. the only job that is SOMETIMES available is cashier (and multiple scam jobs like "event promoter"). everything else requires years of job experience, a completed apprenticeship or a completed bachelor/master (for a part time job btw. wtf?)
If I finally manage to find a job that is closer than an hour drive away, it always requires me to send them a cover letter and resume (once again for a part time job), which I don't have and I'm not gonna make one just to send to a shit company that's probably not gonna answer anyway, in the hopes of getting a 12e/hr job.

My parents annoy me to "get a job", but how? it's literally not possible. There's no jobs available to me, and the few that are don't give a shit about me.
Every year I "wait around" doing nothing just makes it worse, because nobody wants an old dude with no job experience, when they can get a guy 4 years younger that's willing to get paid less.

I can't even at least get a job that's far away, because without money I'm not buying a car to drive there.

Originally an online job with dispatching, but it's near impossible because it worships toilets only. I tried to broaden my search to local and am also having no luck. Either requirements are a PHD for a fucking burger flipping job or it's a sketchy jew scam company that won't even call you back.

That's how I got my current job and my current apartment. I faked bank statements saying I make $10k a month. Then I lied in the interview and made some fake ass portfolio of work that I completed in Canva (which is free)

Then when they asked for job references I made a fake voip phone number (through TextNow) and because I just made it I knew that anybody calling it would be doing the "background check", which is literally them typing your name into the legal database to see If ur a felon and calling the number you provide.

That whenever someone called I put on a fake voice like I was the manager of some stupid ass company.

And even more so, stop finding excuses to LDAR. I'd rather u femboymaxx or osamabinladenmaxx than just sit and accept your fate.

If the job u find is far take the damn bus. Literally steal the money from ur mom's purse and bus to and from work for two weeks. Then buy a moped.


And if ur above 18 apply for government assistance. Actually do that if you're below 18 too.

You basically can’t fake prior jobs anymore either since as part of the background checks these companies all do they call your prior or current employers who by law where I live have to tell them your job title, how long you worked for them, and if you’re eligible for rehire. They can tell them more too apparently if they want. So yeah we’re fucked.

Notice how bullshit it is that once everyone started getting degrees they became fucking useless? I’m fortunate enough to have a degree and I can’t find anyone willing to take me and I’ve put out a crazy number of apps in the past couple months. If PHDs become the norm then anyone without one will become fodder, the chain just keeps shifting. I hate our society, you don’t even need a degree to do most of these jobs.

I’ve read some horror stories of people who got caught doing this though. I wouldn’t want to forge bank statements or pay stubs as at that point I’m in the hard fraud category not just the “exaggeration on my resume” one. Cool it worked for you though. I’m finding it very hard to find a job since they always call your current or prior employer who by law have to give them certain info like your job title, how long you we’re there, etc. It’s gotten tough to fake anything which sucks because every job now requires that you already have experience to land another one. It’s a mess

The way modern backgrounds check work really fucks you up too if you’re not willing to go all the way into deep fraud (something I’m not gonna do because you can wind up in legal trouble).

For example, suppose I worked for X company in job Y. Suppose I want do a different job Z. So you say on your resume you have experience in those responsibilities when applying for this other job type. OK well now they call your prior employer who tells them “no that’s no what they did this is their job title”. Bam like that you’re sunk like a rock and they ghost you.

The issue here is that switching careers to an adjacent field then is effectively impossible since you need years of experience or they just pass you over.
