Chinese people shave their hair because of their culture and they have a lot of hair. I'm Japanese, in my life I've never seen others of my species really bald, with exceptions. That's why we also have little beard.

Japanese have beards as long as you have ainu admixture. And no, it’s not shaved since if it was you’d see an outline of where it’s supposed to be. They don’t have anything on their temples and crown at all.
