Religion has to be one of the most laughable, delusional copes of all time. The fact that there's a taboo around criticising it makes it even more laughable.

It is truly staggering that in the 21st century there are still millions of people in the world who worship an imaginary fairy in the sky, genuinely believing that in doing so they will be rewarded in some kind of utopian afterlife. If a small section of the population held such a mind-boggling delusion, they would be taken to an insane asylum - yet because the delusion is held by millions around the world, it's accepted in modern society, and showing it up for the ridiculousness it is is frowned upon.
