Let's put inceldom on the shelf for a moment. And let's put companionship generally (platonic friendships, etc.) on the shelf too since I will never get those. and finally, let's put expensive things on the shelf because I am not rich:

How can I engineer a pseudo "hedonistic" system where I get to enjoy life to the fullest in spite of being an inkie?

My health is not great and I am growing old (26ish) and I have apnea and so I can't partake in recreational sports like running, hiking, etc. I try to gymcell but it's joyless since I have to exercise in a diluted way to avoid injuring myself.

I haven't played video games since 2016. I feel like a boomer (when I do try to play games I play 20 year old+ games and I can't adjust to newer games).

Books. Sadly 99% of books are slop and I like to read gems but IDK what to read.

I can't make friends and the quality of normies sucks, I am sure having friends would just make my life like 15% better only.

I already:
- walk every day.
- workout 6 times a week (still on my way to lose fat, 35% body fat).
- go to uni (not a NEET, will eventually wageslave).
- decided to learn English (to a native-like level) for fun.
- trying to find new video games to play.
- trying to force myself to talk with my parents every day (KEK, it's so over when you try to practice social skills with your old parents KEK).
- trying to use AI like ChatGPT/Claude/Gemini to help me answer the question of the post.

Listen: I won't rope, so I have to cope, so what to do?

nothing more you can do

all I can say is be frugal

You can try to:

- Learn a musical instrument;
- Practice a hobby like: gardening, calligraphy, digital archaeology (trying to catalog an artist's full discography for instance), baking, cooking, flower arrangements, woodcutting, soldering, knitting, painting, drawing;
- read the great philosophers;
- Make music for fun (you don't have to know music theory to mess around in some digital audio workstation or notation program like musescore);
- Try anime or manga;
- Do some translation gigs if you are able to, personally I got scammed trying to do so;

Yeah I think I'm out of ideas.
You don't have to be the best at your hobby just do it for fun, to express yourself, whatever. For many woodcutting is a form of meditation and brings them inner peace for instance. Personally I am lucky that I study something I love (mathematics) so the guilt of not being able to practice my hobbies is lessened although still there.

Good job and good luck for your weight loss routine brocel, it's great that you're trying to maintain your body. And yeah, normies ain't worth your time, if you manage to find someone whom you share an interest with deeply then that's great and you should keep that friend, otherwise jfl.

learn to draw

Quality movies maybe? Not capeslop, but like classics. 12 Angry Men, Casino, Tarantino films maybe, etc.

Extra classes
- read the great philosophers
Maybe a philosophy class you can find online or take one at uni?

Build and flyFPV drones if you like that kinda stuff but doesn't require other people. Solo activity. Could be too expensive, but an example of shit you can do on a walk by yourself.

Maybe make art of some kind?

Learn to cook, could be helpful with losing weight if you control all the ingredients.

Politics maybe? Idk, brainstorming. Something local perhaps.

A pet? Could be too expensive though.
