It would've been nice to fight in WW1

I'm kinda short at 5'7" but I'm in decent shape and kinda fast. I could've been a decent runner in WW1. Maybe get the chance to engage in some war crimes .At the very least I'd get shot or blown up and this miserable existence would be over. Instead I have to be born in this boring af peaceful era where nothing happens except the certainty of being alone .

war today is dumb. There are hardly any ground invasions like past eras. Everything is done through drone/air strikes with no actual shooting. ukraine/russia is rare.
