I was an abused child and my abusers injured my lower back when I was about nine. I had intermittent back problems after that but my body finally gave out entirely at 37. Please do find out if you have Fibromyalgia. That would at least give you a sense of what you're working with and what pain management tools to use. That was my diagnosis but it took 30 years to get it, during which time I kept trying the "push through, be strong" approach, which only makes things worse. (Pacing is a huge part of learning to live with chronic pain.)
